Ras Kimono Makes Final Journey Home : See Photos From His Burial

A COSON high powered delegation led by the chairman, Chief Tony Okoroji, along with well-meaning Nigerians, recently showed how much they loved veteran Reggae singer, Ras Kimono, who passed away 10 June,2018.

The Copy Right Society of Nigeria (COSON), played a vital role in the whole burial process of the late singer as they are currently in his home town, Delta state, to bid the late singer farewell as he is being laid to mother earth.

On Saturday, August 25, Ras Kimono was laid to rest in his hometown of Onicha-Olona in Delta State. It was the last step in a weeklong series of activities carried out to celebrate the life of one of Nigeria's legendary musicians. Ras Kimono died in June after a sudden onset of illness. His music industry colleagues including Oritz Wiliki, Daddy Showkey, Tony Okoroji and many others were by his graveside along with his family to bid him farewell. Ras Kimono was buried in a tomb draped with the red, yellow and green colours of the Rastafarian Confraternity of which he was a lifelong member.
