When we talk about Afropunk, Brooklyn’s annual festival for black people and by black people, it’s usually in awe of the resplendent, DIY fashion. (And for good reason.) But beyond being a celebration of black beauty and ingenuity, it’s a communal gathering around music and the arts. This year's Festival was with no exception. Great arts from the diaspora was displayed. This year's Festival commenced from the 25 to the 28th of August 2018

Just like Ghana's own "CHALEWOTE" ART FESTIVAL, AFRO PUNK ARTS FESTIVAL has a lots of beautiful arts, Food and Music, and attracts a lot of people all over the world.

Kumawood actor Kwadwo Nkansah Lil Win has bid the late Asantehemaa Nana Afia Kobi Serwaa Ampem II farewell. The Kumawood movie star took to his Instagram page to express his sincere condolence to the entire Asante Kingdom over the loss of their illustrious queen mother and also said his last good-bye to her. The Kumawood celebrity’s post simply read, “Farewell our great queen mother.”
